LOT-EK is a unique and award-winning design studio that makes sustainable and soulful architecture by transforming industrial and infrastructural objects. We make the ordinary extraordinary. Our practice is experimental, ecological, and technological. But we are also mindful, simple, practical, and personal in our approach to each project and each client.

LOT/EK’s projects have ranged from collaborations and installations with artists; through interiors, townhouses, and houses for families; through cultural projects for such clients as The Whitney Museum of Art and The Guggenheim Museum, through commercial projects for such clients as Puma and Band of Outsiders; to institutional projects for such clients as Google and TK. LOT-EK’s international practice has developed projects from their hometown of New York, around the world from Queensland, Australia, through Huangshan, China, to London, England. LOT/EK’s work has been featured in publications from The New York Times to Dwell.
